Advanced Beginning Ballet: The advanced beginner dancer has an understanding of basic ballet steps, body positions, and port de bras. This dancer can follow basic petit and grande allegro combinations and is now ready to be introduced to more advanced ballet technique. At this level, more complicated steps are broken down into component parts and combinations are reviewed as much as necessary.
What to bring: Please bring a towel, bottled water and ballet slippers. You may wear traditional ballet attire such as a leotard, tights, and ballet skirt. Or, you can wear any yoga attire such as leggings, tank tops or t-shirts.
Booty Barre
Dates: 2/1/16 - 3/14/16 (No class on 2/15/16)
Booty Barre winter session starts 2/1 and ends 3/14. Mondays from 7-8pm. A sexy, energetic, fun workout that fuses fitness techniques from Dance, Pilates and Yoga that will tone, define and chisel the whole body. And get this you don't even need any dance experience and you certainly don't need a partner. The Booty Barre® method is the perfect combination of strength and flexibility with added cardio to burn the fat fast.
What to bring: Please bring a towel, a yoga mat, bottled water and barre socks. You may wear any yoga attire such as leggings, tank tops or t-shirts. Both you and the instructor need to see your body alignment and wearing baggy clothing does not help.
P90X: Chest, Back and AbRipper XTuesdays from 6:00PM-7:00PM
Dates: 1/12/16 - 2/16/16 (No class: 2/9/16) The P90X Chest, Back and AbRipper X workout is no joke! It is intense and at the same time it is fun, and radically effective! This is the push and pull workout. This workout pushes your limits, while at the same time encouraging you to take breaks when you need them. Every exercise has a modification so anyone can safely begin this progress and pace themselves carefully. There are also several water breaks when you can catch your breath. What to bring: Mat, bottled water, and towel. Please wear workout gear and athletic shoes. |

You have not danced in awhile but are confident in the basic terminology.

Zumba Class Wednesday 9AM

It is good for Zumba Fitness classes offered only at Athletic Grace Dance Studio from 1/13 - 3/23/16. The pass is not refundable, non transferable for cash or credit. Pass cannot be sold or used by a third party.

Come learn one of the truly American art forms. Course content includes all basic tap vocabulary including shuffles, flaps, buffalos and single time steps.

Jazz dance is a means of self-expression that is exciting, challenging, entertaining, and artistic. This natural dance form is freer, and more contemporary than other dance forms. It can develop muscle tone, reduce fatigue, release tension and build self -esteem by giving you control over your body.

Baby Boomers Tap

Learn basic tap moves and a routine to perform for your family or the entire community. This class is all about fun and stimulation of your physical agility to the sounds of your feet. What to bring: Tap shoes
P90X: Plyometrics
Dates: 1/14/16 - 2/18/16
Plyometric movements, in which a muscle is loaded and then contracted in rapid sequence, use the strength, elasticity and innervation of muscle and surrounding tissues to produce greater strength, more speed and explosive power.
