Welcome to Athletic Grace Dance Studio website! I appreciate your interest in dance and movement. The last few years have been a rollercoaster and as a small business, I have been pivoting through all of the twists and turns.
As a dance educator, I believe in high quality instruction. This is why our studio classes are limited to 8 students for children's classes and 10 students for teen and adult classes and 5 students for Tap.
In the meantime, we are in partnership with El Segundo Recreation Park and I teach Hippity Hop, Tutus and Taps 1 & 2, and Ballet & Tap at the George Gordon Clubhouse. The website to register for classes at Rec Park is secure.rec1.com/CA/el-segundo-ca/catalog.

Nutcracker:REMIXED

Auditions will take place on 9/9 with callbacks on 9/11. This is a community event open to dancers ages 8 & up. This is an updated version of the Nutcracker. We welcome dancers with not only ballet experience, but jazz, tap, Salsa, Swing and Hip Hop. Auditions for principal roles will take place on September 9 with call backs on September 11. Principal roles include Clara, Nutcracker Prince, Mouse King, Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Queen, Dew Drop, Mother Ginger, Chocolate, Marzipan, Tea, and Coffee. Ensemble cast includes Snowflakes and Candy Cane and Party Scene dancers. Rehearsals as called will be M/T/W/Th from 4:00-8:00. Dancers will be given specific times and dates to rehearse.

Adaptive Hip Hop Dance
Mondays from 4:00 - 5:00pm

Adaptive Hip Hop Dance classes are specifically designed to cater to students with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, providing a safe and inclusive environment where everyone can participate and express themselves through movement. These classes focus on adapting traditional dance techniques to suit the individual needs of each student, allowing them to explore their creativity and improve their coordination, balance, and motor skills. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace and in ways that feel comfortable for them, promoting self-confidence and self-expression. Overall, adaptive dance classes offer a fun and supportive space for students with disabilities to learn new skills, build relationships, and most importantly have a great time dancing!
Students will have the opportunity to participate in Nutcracker:REMIXED on Saturday, December 14 at the Clubhouse Auditorium.
